Here’s a list of 15 mods that I believe have to be tried by a Fallout New Vegas lover. Have you ever played the Fallout series? If you have then you probably already know that New Vegas is considered by many to be the best in the series, right? Well, I'm here today to tell you that your adventures in the Mojave can be made even better with mods. Was up, everybody! Actually even at hardcore I build up small guns first, I just switch to energy sooner.Best Fallout New Vegas Mods For A Brand New Experience In Hardcore level there are a lot more energy weapons as loot, once you take them away from the people shooting them at you. So for that level I'd suggest picking small guns not energy.
Someone mentioned a different fixpack in another recent thread (search Fallout to try to find it) but I've only used MMUE.įONY tip: if you are playing at normal difficulty, small guns skill weapons are plentiful and energy weapons much less so. Opinions vary but I didn't find either one's UI nearly as console-ified as Skyrim is.įor a vanilla FONY playthrough the "Mission Mojave Ultimate Edition" bug fix pack is a good choice. I just replayed it recently on Win 7.įor both I've played through several times without a UI mod. The main characters are different and they are different parts of the country.įO3 runs great on WIn7 (well, as well as any Bethesda Gamebryo memory-leak engine games does). Sell the weapons and ammo you arent using, early on money is kinda scarce and you'll wanna buy good armor when you can.įO3 and FONY saves and stories are not tied together except by being in the same world. On your first play through I recommend you pick either guns or energy weapons, and just focus on those until you get to the late game and have extra skill points to throw around. Just look at the top files in each category. There really isnt enough to craft and cook in the base game, in my opinion.Īnd a mod to add a bunch of new perks. as is any mod that adds a bunch of extra recipes. Its nice to turn cigs into doctors kits.Īlso, anything that adds a buttload of guns is good.
